Kitchen Rework

Kitchen redesign is a small project for rethinking and proposing a renovation of an old kitchen for the most efficient. Measuring current kitchen and recording circulation of the user while using kitchen required to track the food waste and water footprint after cooking. In this case, the user was cooking Arroz Chaufa and being recorded, there was many accesses food scraps from cooking and water waste from washing.

The proposed kitchen considered turning food scraps into personal composing components, Bokashi system. Bokashi bin is a small-scale composting bin which can ferment food waste into usable composts for plants. Then water waste can also be used to water home grown plants which then be used to make Arroz Chaufa once again.
